At Stellar, we focus on understanding the road and the rules, not just rote memorisation of techniques. We'll teach you to do shoulder checks, but also why, and what to do if you see something on a check. Understanding why you do these things enhances your learning of when and how, because you know exactly why it makes sense to do it that way.
Every lesson at Stellar is reviewed with a checklist of driving tasks, rating your abilities. We progress from beginner tasks to advanced as you learn, and through the grading you can clearly see your development and growth. Our trainer has a Certificate in Adult Teaching and more than 20 years' experience one-on-one teaching of practical skills and tasks. We understand everyone learns differently, and some face more challenges than others, and will work with anyone to achieve their dreams. Covid-19
Under New Zealand Covid-19 response levels Three and Four, driving lessons cannot be held.
Under Level Two I wear a mask, and I encourage you to as well, and we do the same cleaning routine as Level One.
Under Level One between all students, the following are wiped with antibacterial wipes: steering wheel, indicator & washer stalks, gear shift knob, parking brake, seatbelt buckle, door & console controls, door handles, seat adjustment levers, rear view mirror.
Our instructor is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
